There are many women and girls who are experiencing domestic violence, mental illness, homelessness and addiction. As a result of their circumstances they go without some of life’s simple pleasures such as attending a swimming class, going to yoga with friends, being involved in a local sporting team or learning to play an instrument.
Reclink Australia is challenging everyone to give up chocolate for the month of October to help raise awareness, and much needed funds, for women and girls in need. Money raised by Choctober will help fund socially inclusive, life-changing sports and arts activities that make a positive difference to their lives.
